How to record your gameplay

For Top, Jungle, Mid & ADC – Record POV gameplay

  • POV (Point of View) gameplay allows us to see where you are clicking, where you are directing your attention, and provides much more information to the coach. It is different than using the spectate feature
  • Use the WTL Auto Recorder to record your gameplay automatically. Click here to learn how and install.
  • Or, use other recording software such as OBS or Insights Capture

Then, upload the recording

  • If you are using the WTL Auto Recorder, make sure your recording is uploaded to the cloud
  • If you are uploading your recording to YouTube, verify your YouTube account so you aren’t limited in the length of the video. Also ensure the video is not set to ‘private’.

For Support – Get the .rofl file (spectator POV)

  • Go to your Match History on the League of Legends client and download the game you want reviewed
  • Find the file in (Documents -> League of Legends -> Replays)
  • Drag and drop the file into the thread created for your coaching session

Note: These files can only be opened on the same patch that they were recorded
