Frequently Asked Questions

1. After signing up when is it my turn?

Coaching order is decided by time since last review, NOT first come first serve.

2. How long does a single review go for?

The average review length for top, mid, adc and support is 30mins, for jungle it is 15mins.

3. Can I still attend and listen if I don’t have a VOD?

Yes, you can simply join and sit in the channel with your microphone muted.

Coaching sessions are a great way to see what mistakes your peers are making that you can relate to. No-one’s problems are unique to them.

4. If I’m not the person getting coached can I still ask questions?

The WTL Coach may prompt at the end of each review if anyone else has questions.

You can do this via voice or the 🏆| coaching-chat channel

This is highly encouraged as most of the time your question will be the same as others.

6. When is the next session?

Coaching sessions are held multiple times every week.

There are two ways to see when the next session is:

  1. Go to the ✍︱coaching-sign-up channel (this will only show the next immediate session)

2. Check the Calendar on your Academy website Dashboard.

6. What if I can’t attend any of the session times?

The session times are selected based on popularity. Most of our members are from NA / EU so we mainly accommodate for these time zones.

As the programs grow, we will add more coaches to run sessions at a greater selection of times.

7. What VOD should I bring to coaching?

Wins and losses are both good to review – However often games from an even/winning position have more learning opportunity as certain mistakes in the early game can lead to the upcoming scenarios being a result of that early mistake. In sessions with early big mistakes I would recommend to perhaps bring a second VOD.

It would be best to bring a VOD where you have an idea of what you want to go over. For example: Laning phase, mid-late to split them up. It is also good to come in prepared and bring some timestamps of the confusing moments for yourself.
